THE HEARTS OF MEN

                                    FEBRUARY IS HEART HEALTH MONTH

MEN HAVE LARGER HEARTS & ARTERIES THAN WOMEN,
                                                    MEN'S HEARTS BEAT SLOWER.

Heart disease is the number one killer of men.

                   * One in four men will die from heart disease.

                   * Half of those men will have no previous symptoms.

                   * It affects almost all ethnic/racial groups.

                   * The risk factors are:
                             Poor diet
                             Diabetes
                             Obesity
                             Inactivity
                             Excessive alcohol intake
                             Smoking

Gentlemen, give the woman you love the best Valentine gifts, which are gifts to yourself as well:

                   Stop smoking
Eat more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean sources of protein
Maintain a healthy and normal weight for your age and frame
                   Get moving! Exercise.
Limit alcoholic drinks to 1-2 per day
Decrease stress with relaxation/breathing techniques, positive thinking

THE POWER OF LOVE BINDS THE HEARTS
                                                     OF TWO PEOPLE TOGETHER.
